The Company is headquartered in Takoradi but its main office is based in Tema. The Company’s current operational portfolio includes the following services:
Almost fifteen years since its inception as an indigenous Ghanaian company, JVC has developed rapidly from a small venture with 20 employees operating in a small container office to become a trustworthy and popular actor and employer in the construction business, with a current workforce of about 300 employees. It is now widely recognized by its peers for its competence both nationally and internationally.
Indeed, the Company can pride itself in the successful execution of numerous general engineering projects here in Ghana, in various sectors of the economy such as energy, mining, oil and gas and water distribution. For example in recent years, JVC has been a key partner of Volta River Authority (VRA) and other companies in the construction of the Takoradi and Tema Thermal Power Plants and has carried out the construction of tanks and pipelines and other mechanical works for Newmont Ghana Gold Limited (NGGL) at the Ahafo Mines in the Brong Ahafo Region.
On an international scale, JVC has executed major construction projects in the energy sector in West Africa (Benin, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Togo). JVC is now operating in Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Since 2011, through its most recently created division, JVC LOGISTICS, the Company has also been providing logistic and haulage services to major stakeholders in the construction industry.
