Josren Ventures Limited

In 1997, a new firm was born into Ghana’s emerging construction industry, namely, Josren Ventures. Its founder was Mr. Joseph Quashie, a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with 20 years of experience in the industry. Josren Ventures started operating in Takoradi in a small container office with 20 employees.

JVC Ghana  2002 - 2006

This period saw the transformation of the company from sole proprietorship to a Limited Liability Company by shares, followed by the development of new services. In 2004, the  Josren Ventures Company Limited (JVC) was officially registered at the Registrar General’s Department as providing the following services:

  • General Engineering Services
  • Construction of Plant and Installation of Equipment
  • Maintenance of Plant and Equipment
  • Sales and Distribution of General Engineering Materials
  • Manufacturer & Manufacturer's Representative
  • Logistic Services and Crane Operations

JVC grew rapidly from a small venture to become a trustworthy and popular actor and employer in the construction business, with a current workforce of about 300 employees. The Company is now widely recognized by its peers for its competence.

JVC Ghana 2007 to present

Almost fifteen years since its inception as an indigenous Ghanaian company, JVC Limited has grown to become an international general engineering company with the execution of major construction projects in the energy sector in West Africa (Benin, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Togo) and the launching of a new division, JVC LOGISTICS, that provides construction and haulage services to major stakeholders in the construction industry.  JVC Limited has also officially opened another branch in Sierra Leone.

West African Projects:

Benin: Mechanical, Electrical and Civil installation of Wärtsilä Diesel Engine Power Plants in Parakou, Natitingou and Porto Novo of a total capacity of 32 MW.

Togo: Mechanical installation of a 100 MW Wärtsilä Power Plant in Lome.

Nigeria: Electrical and Mechanical installation of an 8.5 MW Wärtsilä Power Plant for Nestle in Agbara.

Sierra Leone Electrical and Mechanical installation of a 15 MW Power Plant for Jacobsen Electro in Freetown as well as an EPC for storage tank facilities for the site.
